Questions we answer in public.

What is Continental Digital Banking?

Continental Digital Banking & Global Payments provides personal accounts in Europe, international cards and transfers for clients who need access across borders. The website is www.cdbgp.com.

Who can open an account?

The account is for international clients, especially citizens of the CIS, who want a personal account in Europe, a card for payments abroad and a straightforward way to move money.

How do I open an account?

Choose Open account on the website. Enter your name, date of birth, passport details, country and email, and set a password. When the application is accepted you sign in to the client area.

Do I need to visit a branch?

No. The application, the client area and messages to the bank are online. Support answers at support@cdbgp.com.

What will I see after I sign in?

Your balance, recent payments, the card linked to the account, the full history and your profile. You can also write to the bank from the client area.

Can I withdraw cash at ATMs in the European Union?

Yes. With a Continental Digital Banking card you can withdraw cash at ATMs across the European Union, in euro, up to the balance on your account. The withdrawal appears in your payment history. An ATM operator may show its own fee before you confirm. Blocking the card in the client area stops withdrawals until the card is active again.

Can I order a plastic card by post?

Yes. Sign in, open the card page and choose Order a plastic card by post. Enter a delivery address in the European Union: country, city, postal code, street and a phone number. Continental Digital Banking sends the plastic card to that address. Delivery outside the EU is not available on this form.

What savings rates do you publish?

On personal balances Continental Digital Banking publishes 1.75% a year on a notice balance, 2.40% a year for six months and 3.10% a year for twelve months. If a term balance is taken out early, the notice rate applies for the days it was held.

Do you offer a loan with a guarantor?

Yes. A personal loan can be requested when a guarantor in Europe agrees to answer for it. The published rate starts at 7.90% a year and depends on the amount, the term and the guarantor. Sending a request does not mean the loan is approved.

What is the card for?

The international card is linked to your account and is used for payments abroad and online. Card details are shown in the client area after the card is opened. The balance on the same account can also be shown when you need to document sufficient means of subsistence for a stay in the European Union: the funds a consulate or immigration authority asks you to have available. You submit your own balance and account statements. The amount required is set by that authority, not by Continental Digital Banking.

How do transfers work?

Transfers are made from the client area. Incoming and outgoing payments appear in history with the amount, type and date. Top-up details for your account are shown there as well.

How do I keep the account private?

Sign in with your own email and password. Do not share the password or card details. You can block the card from the client area if it is lost.

How long has Continental Digital Banking been online?

Continental Digital Banking has been online at cdbgp.com since 20 March 2014, serving international clients who need an account in Europe.

Can I use the account to confirm funds for a stay in the EU?

Yes, as proof of the funds you hold. If a consulate or immigration office asks you to show sufficient means of subsistence for a stay in the European Union — the amount many applicants call a subsistence minimum — your Continental Digital Banking balance and statements are documents you can present. Continental Digital Banking does not set that amount and does not decide whether the authority accepts the documents.

How do I contact the bank?

Email support@cdbgp.com. If you already have an account, you can also send a message from the client area.
